Great to see more and more people offering sidewalk benches like this inviting one in Bath. Having places like this to rest for a bit can make walking more accessible and comfortable for everyone.
Come down to Spring into Summer, and say hi. We are collecting suggestions from residents about how we can make Bath even better for walking, biking, and rolling.
We had our first ever #BathBikeParty yesterday evening. Started off with a few bike tune-ups, a safety review, and then a ride around town. Thanks to @itsjustlaszlo for leading the ride. Another windy day in Bath but great to be out on our bikes enjoying a sunny Friday evening. We will do this again on June 2nd. Maybe the food trucks will be here then?
Help us celebrate Bike Month and join the Bath Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee for an easy-going ride around town. Meet up at 5:30 at the new Waterfront Park by the Virginian Dock. We'll start off with a "check your bike" to make sure you're safe to go. We'll also have a couple of mechanics and tools on hand to make some minor adjustments to your bike if needed. Sign up using the link in our story.
Great turnout for Bath's Ride of Silence yesterday. A windy but beautiful evening for a ride to honor those who have been injured or killed while biking. #rideofsilence #rideofsilence2023
“So great to see so many kids biking to Bath Middle School. When kids can bike to school themselves it gives them independence and also changes their brain chemistry in ways that makes them ready to learn. “ - Lawrence Kovacs, Gifted and Talented Teacher at BMS
