Back in 2018, the BikeWalkBath blog was launched by a couple of volunteers who were members of the Bath Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee. Members of the committee saw a need for a flexible way to communicate with interested residents about the activities of the committee. Over the years, the committee used the blog to post information about events and occasional updates about accomplishments.

In February of 2024, the Bath Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee voted to discontinue their use of this blog and instead have decided to utilize the standard City of Bath communication channels using the City’s Social Media and eNewsletter Platform.

This blog is now being run solely as a citizen volunteer effort, and although there may be posts related to the work and effort of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee, this is no longer the Committee’s official blog.
